Boy, 17, attacked by group of men with Stanley knife outside Mansfield shop

Police are appealing for information after a 17-year-old boy was attacked by a group of men with a Stanley knife in Mansfield.

The boy suffered a cut to his ear during an altercation outside the One Stop Shop in Westfield Lane, at the junction with Devon Drive, on Sunday, April 28 at around 5.15pm.

Around 15 minutes later, the boy was punched and kicked by the same group of men near a bus stop in Westfield Lane, near the junction with Harrop White Road.

A Nottinghamshire Police spokesman added: "Anyone who witnessed the incident, or has dash-cam footage in the area at the time, is urged to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 624 of 28 April 2019. Alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
