A teenage boy was shot in the arm Thursday in Union Ridge on the Northwest Side.
The 16-year-old was on the street about 12:30 p.m. when he heard gunshots and felt pain in the 5200 block of North Natchez Avenue, according to Chicago police.
He was taken to Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge with a gunshot wound to his right arm, police said. His condition was stabilized.
Area North detectives are investigating.
