16-year-old missing from West Elsdon found

A boy missing from West Elsdon on the Southwest Side was found.

David Alvarado, 16, was last seen Dec. 14 in the 5600 block of South Kolin Avenue, according to a missing persons alert from Chicago police.

Police said detectives investigating canceled his missing person alert about 10:30 a.m. Friday.
