Boy, 16, hit over head and threatened with knife in park iPhone robbery

Police are appealing for information and witnesses following a robbery of a teenager in Bestwood Park.

The incident occurred at Chediston Vale park at around 9pm where a 16-year-old boy was hit over the head by something similar to a wooden cosh.

He was also threatened with a knife.

A red iPhone XR and jewellery were stolen in the incident on Wednesday, October 16.

The victim was taken to QMC and has been released after receiving swelling and bruising to his head and face.
