Boy, 16, has been missing from home for a week

POLICE UPDATE: Dennis O'Brien has been found safe and well

Police are appealing for help to find a 16-year-old boy who has been missing from home for a week.

Dennis O'Brien, from Netherton, was last seen on March 11. He is 6ft 6in tall, has a medium build with dark brown wavy hair. He has a tanned complexion, brown eyes and speaks with a Liverpool accent.

Merseyside Police launched an appeal to find the missing teen who was last seen wearing black outdoor clothing and a grey jacket. People are asked to pass any sightings of Dennis, who is known to frequent the Kirkby area, onto police via an online form, available here.

A Merseyside Police spokesperson said: "Please share and help us find missing 16-year-old Dennis O’Brien from Netherton. Dennis has been missing from home since 11 March and extensive enquiries are ongoing to find him.

"He is 6ft 6in tall, medium build with dark brown wavy hair. He has a tanned complexion, brown eyes and has a Liverpool accent. Dennis was last seen wearing black outdoor clothing and a grey jacket.

"He is known to frequent the Kirkby area. Please pass on any sightings of Dennis via our form: https://www.merseyside.police.uk/ro/report/mp/v2/report-sighting-of-missing-person-form/ or any other information to @MerPolCC or 101."
