A 16-year-old boy has been charged with murder after a shooting in east London left a woman dead and two other people injured.

Lianne Gordon, described by neighbours as “a beautiful soul”, died and a 20-year-old man and 16-year-old boy were hurt in the attack in Vine Close, Hackney, on Tuesday evening.

A 16-year-old boy was arrested in the early hours of Friday in east London, in connection with the shooting.

He was charged on Saturday with the murder of Lianne Gordon and with the attempted murder of the other two people injured.

He was also charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs (crack cocaine and heroin.)

He will appear in custody at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Monday, (December 11), police confirmed on Saturday.
