Boy, 15, killed sister, 10, by hammering her so hard 'part of her skull fell off'

A teenager has allegedly confessed to killing his 10-year-old sister after she was hit so hard with a hammer part of her skull fell off when she was moved by paramedics.

The 15-year-old 'gamer' allegedly beat his sister with a hammer after a quarrel over an electronic tablet, it has been claimed.

The girl, named as Luda, was killed at home in the city of Taraz, northern Kazakhstan, on May 13.

She was found with a broken skull and died from horrific injuries before paramedics arrived at the scene.

Neighbours claim the tragedy occurred after Luda and her brother Aleksey had a row in the courtyard near their house.

Shynar Myrzakhmetova, a woman living next door, said to local media: "I heard them quarrelling over a tablet and saw Aleksey carrying a hammer in his hand."

Reports claim Aleksey attacked Luda at night in her sleep by hitting her with the hammer on the head multiple times.

He then allegedly carried her body out and left it in the street near his neighbours' fence.

After that Aleksey changed his clothes and alarmed his parents saying that 'his sister disappeared', according to local media.

The family rushed to search for the girl and Aleksey, who 'actively helped', led them to the body.

The parents called the police and an ambulance.

Neighbour Kristina Gosteva told: ''The girl's head was crushed. A part of the skull fell off when paramedics lifted up her head.''

Law enforcement launched a criminal case for murder against Aleksey, who has reportedly confessed to the crime.

Zhandos Mametkulov, the head deputy of a local police department, said: "The girl died from injuries not compatible with life before paramedics arrived at the scene.

"Her brother confessed to the crime in full and was taken into custody."

Ardak Madimarov, the head deputy of the criminal investigations department, added: "The hammer along with the suspect's T-shirt and his shoes covered with the victim's blood were discovered in the house.

"During interrogation, he said that he killed the girl because 'she p****d him off'."

Aleksey faces up to 15 years in prison if found guilty. The investigation continues.

Neighbours said Aleksey and Luda constantly argued over the tablet. He is said to be a gamer and his sister needed the device for studying.

Luda was a smart and spirited girl, say local media.
