Boy, 15, grazed in Douglas shooting

A 15-year-old boy was grazed by a bullet Thursday in Douglas on the South Side.

The boy was shot about 7:15 p.m. during “a gambling game” in the 2700 block of South State Street, according to Chicago police.

Police said someone opened fire from a passing red-colored vehicle.

The boy was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center with a graze wound to his thigh, police said. He was in good condition.

Area Three detectives are investigating.
