An inquest has been opened into the death of a 15-year-old boy found dead in a wooded area near his home.
Joshua Merrells, of Mount Pleasant, Gowerton was discovered in a wooded area off Caemansel Road on the afternoon of August 6 this year.
Acting senior coroner Colin Phillips said he was awaiting the final results of the post mortem, but police had confirmed there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
Why do inquests take place?:
He awarded an interim death certificate to the family, and adjourned the inquest until next January.
