A 15-year-old boy was shot in the head and killed Wednesday in south suburban Hazel Crest.
Jamini Sutton was shot about 2:30 p.m. at 171st Street and Park Avenue, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Sutton, of Hazel Crest, was pronounced dead the next day at 5:30 p.m., the medical examiner’s office said.
An autopsy released Friday ruled his death a homicide.
Hazel Crest police did not immediately respond to request for additional information.
