Boy, 14, suffered serious injuries after crash involving motorcycle and a car

A teenager suffered serious injuries after a crash in Rainworth.

Police crash investigators are appealing for witnesses after the incident which happened on Monday, November 11.

Officers were called just after 5.30pm to a report of a collision between a motorcycle and a car in Kirklington Road, outside the village hall.

A spokesman for the police said the injured 14-year-old boy, who was riding the motorcycle, remains in hospital.

No arrests have been made at this stage but enquiries are continuing.

The police spokesman added: "If you saw the collision or believe you may have captured the incident on dash-cam footage, please contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, quoting incident 685 of 11 November 2019."
