A teenage boy was left with cuts to his face after an assault in the early hours.
The 14-year-old is understood to have been walking with friends in the Ballycolman Estate of Strabane in the early hours of Saturday morning, November 6, when the incident happened.
Police say the teen was assaulted by a man, believed to be in his 20’s.
A PSNI spokeswoman said: "Police are appealing for information following an assault in the Ballycolman Estate in Strabane in the early hours of this morning (6 November).
"At approximately 12.30am, police received a report that a 14-year-old male had been assaulted by a man, believed to be in his 20’s.
"The teenager received cuts to his face during the incident.
"Anyone who may have witnessed the attack is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference 75 of 06/11/21 or you can submit a report online using the non-emergency reporting form via http://www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/."
