A 14-year-old boy has been charged after an alleged sexual assault in Inverclyde.
Police attended a property in Greenock at around 6pm on August 21 in relation to reports of an assault.
And on Tuesday four police vans and a squad of forensics officers were seen at the same address.
A cordon was put in place as officers arrived at the residential area between 2pm and 3pm.
Police confirmed that a 14-year-old boy had been charged in connection with an incident.
A spokeswoman from Police Scotland told the Record: "Police were called to a report of an assault within a property in Greenock at around 6pm on Friday, August 21.
"A 14-year-old boy has been charged in connection with the incident.”
