A teenager has appeared in court this morning following the killing of a man in Huyton.
Connor Dockerty was repeatedly stabbed and killed on Kingsway in Huyton on Monday (April 19).
Three teenage boys and a teenage girl were arrested and questioned on suspicion of his murder.
A 15-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl, both arrested on suspicion of murder, have been released on conditional bail.
A 15-year-old boy who was also questioned by detectives has been released and is facing no further action.
This morning, a 14-year-old boy charged with Mr Dockerty's murder appeared at Liverpool Magistrates Court.
Due to the boy's age, the ECHO is not allowed to name or identify him.
Just after 10am, the boy appeared behind a screen in court and was supported by his aunt in the courtroom.
The boy, wearing a grey jumper, stood and spoke only to confirm his name and address before being asked to sit.

Details of the charges were read out, being that on Monday 19, he is accused of stabbing and killing 23-year-old Connor Dockerty.
There was no application for bail, and the 14-year-old and was remanded to a youth detention centre.
After the short pre-trial hearing concluded, the boy stood and was led away silently without acknowledging his aunt.
The next appearance will be on Tuesday, April 27 at Liverpool Crown Court.
