Boy, 13, shot in Gresham

A 13-year-old boy was shot in the leg June 12, 2020, in Gresham. | Sun-Times file photo

A 13-year-old boy was shot Friday in Gresham on the South Side.

The boy was walking home from a party about 1:50 a.m. when heard gunshots on Carpenter Street, according to Chicago police.

He was hit in the left leg and someone drove him to Little Company of Mary Hospital in Evergreen Park, where he was listed in good condition, police said.

No one is in custody as Area Two detectives investigate.
