A 13-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a suspected shooting.
Lancashire Police said officers were called to reports of a suspected firearms discharge in an alleyway to the rear of Skipton Street in Morecambe shortly before 6pm on Monday (November 15).
The force said a local man, aged in his 20s, was found with injuries to his face, LancsLive reports.

He was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
Police said a 13-year-old boy from Lancaster was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, and he remains in custody.
The force added that patrols will be increased in the coming days to reassure the community.

Officers are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
Detective Chief Inspector James Edmonds, of West Division, said: “This incident has left a man with some very serious injuries and I would appeal to anyone who has any information to come forward and speak to us."
