A 13-year-old boy was arrested after a person was shot with a BB gun in Manchester's Trafford Centre this evening.
Greater Manchester Police were called to the Trafford Centre just before 6pm on Friday, August 27, after reports of a firearm being spotted.
Armed officers attended the scene and a group of eight 12 and 13-year-olds ran in different directions to flea from police.

After being detained officers found the suspected firearm was a gas powered BB Gun.
The gun had been fired at somebody in the shopping centre, causing minor injuries.
They did not require medical attention.
A 13-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear, and assault.
He remains in custody and is assisting officers with on-going enquiries.
