A boy was taken to hospital after being hit by a car.
The 12-year-old was hit by a Mercedes at around 3.15pm on Tuesday, April 25. Emergency services, including police, attended the scene on Rose Lane in Mossley Hill.
The road was closed for some time, while officers carried out enquiries. Police have confirmed that the driver of the car stopped at the scene and is assisting them.

After being taken to hospital, it was confirmed that the boy suffered a leg injury and cuts and bruises. Anyone who witnessed the crash is being asked to contact police.
A spokesperson for Merseyside police said: "We were contacted at 3.15pm yesterday (Tues) to reports of a road traffic collision between a Mercedes car and a 12-year-old boy on Rose Lane in Mossley Hill. The boy suffered a leg injury and cuts and bruises and was taken to hospital.
"The driver of the car stopped at the scene and is assisting with enquiries. Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information which could assist with our enquiries is asked to call our Matrix Roads Policing Unit on (0151) 777 5747 or DM @MerPolTraffic quoting reference 23000348856."
