Boy, 12, missing from home in Altrincham - police are appealing for help to find him

UPDATE: CHARLIE HAS BEEN FOUND SAFE AND WELL

Police are appealing for help to find a missing boy from Altrincham.

Charlie O'Brien was last seen in John Lee Park at 4.20pm on Sunday (June 20).

The 12-year-old was riding his black Carrera mountain bike, police said.

Charlie is described as a white male with brown hair.

He is 4ft 11in tall and of medium build and was last seen wearing a white Adidas top, white shorts and black Puma pumps.

In an appeal posted on the Greater Manchester Police Facebook page, officers said they are becoming 'increasingly concerned' for Charlie's welfare.

"We want to make sure he's found safe and well", the post added.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Charlie O'Brien should contact police immediately on 0161 856 7809 or 0161 856 9169 quoting incident 2936 of 20/06/21.

Alternatively, details can be passed on anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
