A schoolboy was hit by a suspected drug driver during rush hour in Liverpool this morning.
The 12-year-old was knocked down by a man driving a Skoda, on Blackwood Avenue.
Emergency services were called to the scene, at around 8.35am, to reports of a crash in Woolton.

North West Ambulance service confirmed they took a boy to hospital with minor injuries.
Police have since confirmed that a 41-year-old man, from Gateacre, was arrested on the scene on suspicion of drug driving after a roadside test.
He has been taken into police custody for questioning.
A Merseyside police spokesperson told the ECHO : "We have arrested a man on suspicion of drug driving following a collision in Woolton this morning, Tuesday 5 October.
"At around 8.35am, emergency services were called to Blackwood Avenue to reports of a collision involving a Skoda and a pedestrian, a 12-year-old boy. He was taken to hospital for assessment of a slight facial injury.
"A 41-year-old man from Gateacre was arrested on suspicion of drug driving after a roadside test. He has been taken to a police station for questioning.
