A boy has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Ramsbottom.
Emergency services were called the collision on Bolton Road West at around 3pm on Friday (October 9).
An 11-year-old boy was hit by a car, a North West Ambulance Service spokesperson confirmed.
He was taken to hospital with a leg injury.
An air ambulance landed at the scene but was not needed.
No arrests were made and enquiries are ongoing, police said.
A NWAS spokesperson said: "We were called to a collision on Bolton Road West at 3.04pm.
"We attended with an air ambulance, rapid response vehicle and an ambulance.
"We have taken a male patient to hospital by road ambulance, he suffered a leg injury.
"The patient was an 11-year-old child."
A GMP spokesperson said: "Officers were called just after 3.10pm today (Friday 9 October 2020) to Bolton Road West, Ramsbottom to a report of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian.
"An 11 year-old-boy has been taken to hospital with minor injuries that are not believed to be life threatening.
"No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing."
Bolton Road West was closed in both directions between Holcombe Brook and Dundee Lane for around an hour this afternoon.
It has since reopened.
Traffic alert service Inrix reported that the incident happened near Woodhey High School.
