Boy, 11, fights for life after being hit by bus in West Norwood

An 11-year-old boy is fighting for life after being hit by a bus in south London.

Police were called to reports of a collision in Norwood Road, West Norwood at around 8.13am on Tuesday.

Paramedics and London’s Air Ambulance also attended.

The pedestrian was taken to hospital where he remains there in a critical condition.

His next of kin have been informed.

The driver of the bus stopped at scene and is assisting police with their enquiries. There have been no arrests.

The Metropolitan Police said any witnesses or drivers with dash cam footage who could assist the investigation are asked to call the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 020 8285 1574.
