Boy, 10, rushed to hospital after being knocked down on Glasgow road

A 10-year-old boy has been rushed to hospital after being knocked down in Scotstoun.

The boy was struck by the car on Dumbarton Road around 11.40am on Sunday. Emergency services attended the scene and the young boy was rushed to the Royal Hospital for Children for treatment where his condition is currently unknown.

Police closed the road to traffic for three hours while investigations were carried out. The road reopened around 2pm.
