Boxing news: Joe Joyce predicts how Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury would unfold

Anthony Joshua is still on the lookout for a new opponent for his US debut on June 1.

Unfortunately for boxing fans, it will not be Tyson Fury , who is himself preparing to fight Tom Schwarz in Las Vegas in June 15.

There are plenty of calls for Fury and Joshua to do battle in a colossal scrap between two unbeaten British heavyweight superstars later this year.

One man who knows more than most about both fighters is Joe Joyce, who has sparred the pair on plenty of occasions and was a team-mate of Joshua's in the Team GB squad as an amateur.

The rising star recently revealed he reckons he has the blueprint to beat Joshua as he eyes a world title shot of his own in the future.

Joyce, who penned a deal to join Fury in Frank Warren's stable last week, has now broken down how a huge clash between the Gypsy King and Joshua would unfold.

Boxing news: Joe Joyce 'knows how to beat' Anthony Joshua as he eyes huge fight

Joyce told BT Sport: "I think probably Tyson would outbox him.

"But then it's also a case that if Joshua lands something big on him, if he can hit him, that could change.

"It shows that Fury's got a chin, seeing he got up from Wilder when Wilder's apparently got the strongest punch in heavyweight boxing.

"He managed to get off the canvas there and he could probably manage to get off the canvas again."

There have been growing frustrations amongst fans with the political situation of the heavyweight division, with all of the big three aligned to different TV companies in the USA.

Joshua has built his reputation with Sky Sports in the UK and is the poster boy for streaming service DAZN across the pond.

Fury recently penned a huge deal with Top Rank and ESPN in the US and represents Warren on BT Sport in the UK.

His contract caused a rematch with Deontay Wilder , who fights on Showtime, to fall through and the American recently rejected the chance to join DAZN.

Whether Joshua and Fury will eventually fight remains unclear, but if Joyce's prediction is correct it could well be the can't-miss prospect fans expect.
