Jake Paul responds to 'illegal' contract clause
Jake Paul has defiantly responded to claims that his opponents are prevented from knocking out the young fighter, stating such a clause would be 'highly illegal'.
There has been numerous claims that Tyron Woodley was prevented from performing a knockout on Paul earlier this year, resulting in needing to step back when he had Paul on the ropes.
However, speaking ahead of next month's bout against Tommy Fury, Paul denied those clauses exist: "It's a bunch of losers trying to make s*** up.
"Having a no knockout clause in a contract, I've never heard of that, and first of all that's highly illegal."
Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte update
Tyson Fury's promoter Frank Warren has issued an updated on the expected bout between the Gypsy King and Dillian Whyte in spring.
The WBC are expected to mandate Fury to defend his heavyweight belt against is fellow Brit in the opening months of next year, with the bout likely to take place in the UK in March or April.
Warren has now issued an update to fans on the matter, stating: “I don’t think anything will happen until the WBC has their convention, which is later this month and I don’t think that’s going to happen until then.
"There’s no rush and there’s no rush from Tyson’s perspective. As I’ve said to everybody, it doesn’t matter what anybody says. He will do what he wants to do."
Mike Tyson confirms boxing return
Boxing great Mike Tyson has confirmed his plans to return to the ring in February next year, amid speculation of a future bout with Logan Paul.
Tyson made a shock comeback last year in an exhibition against former heavyweight legend Roy Jones Jr, which ended in a draw.
Tyson said during his attendance at the undisputed clash between Canelo Alvarez and Caleb Plant at the weekend: "God willing I'll fight again in February."
Tyson had previously claimed he would make his return when he told The Sun : "I am going to have a return fight in February and we are pretty skeptical about the opponent, but it will be a really stimulating opponent."
