The famous Boxing Day sale season is here - giving us the chance to grab a bargain (or five).
Department stores like Liberty London, Marks and Spencer and House of Fraser have plenty of end of season sale offers on for bargain-hunters. With Brits expected to spend a whopping £1bn today, as high street chains launch Boxing Day discounts early.
New restrictions in place across the UK mean non-essential stores have been forced to close, so some of Britain’s biggest retailers will not be open over the Christmas break.
While some stores like Marks and Spencer are remaining open, but will only be able to offer essential food items to customers.

M&S

Marks and Spencer will be open throughout the festive period, but timings will vary from store to store.
- December 26th: all stores will be closed
- December 27th: all stores open, operating with usual Sunday trading hours
- December 28th: all stores open, operating with Bank Holiday trading hours
- December 29th-31st: all stores will open as usual
John Lewis

All John Lewis stores are temporarily closed in line with the latest government guidelines. the retailer advises customers to check times online at johnlewis.com during the Christmas period.
- Christmas Day - all stores closed
- December 26th - all stores closed except Trafford
- December 27th - all stores open for click and collect, operating with usual Sunday trading hours (11am-5pm)
- December 28th to 30th - all stores open for click and collect
- December 31st - Most stores will open between 9am and 6pm for click and collect services.
Harvey Nichols

Harvey Nichols will not be open throughout the festive period due to Tier 4 but shoppers can shop online for home delivery.

For the first time in the history of Harrods, the Winter Sale has been brought forward to run throughout the festive season and into early 2021.
