Boxing Day football fixtures: Premier League matches and how to watch on TV

League leaders Liverpool welcome Newcastle to Anfield on Boxing Day (Picture: AP)

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's first home game as Manchester United boss, against Huddersfield, is one of nine Premier League fixtures on Boxing Day this year.

Liverpool host Newcastle at Anfield in a fixture that has produced some of the league's finest matches down the years, while their main title rivals Manchester City go to Leicester City.

Fulham host Wolves in the day's early kick off, with fellow London strugglers Crystal Palace welcoming Cardiff to Selhurst Park for a potential relegation six pointer.

Tottenham are at Wembley for a clash with Eddie Howe's Bournemouth, but West Ham don't play until December 27, when they travel to St Mary's to face Southampton.

The festive feast of football runs on into the evening, with Arsenal's trip to Brighton kicking off at 5:15pm, before Watford meet Chelsea at Vicarage Road in the 7:30pm game.

Manchester United's home game against Huddersfield will be their first at Old Trafford since Jose Mourinho was sacked
