Boxers react after Tyson Fury knocks out Deontay Wilder

A number of boxers have weighed in and given their reaction after Tyson Fury knocked out Deontay Wilder.

In their trilogy fight, Fury defeated Wilder for the second time after winning by an emphatic knockout in the 11th round.

In what is being described as one of the greatest heavyweight fights of all-time, Wilder looked like he had Fury beaten twice with two huge shots and putting him down in the fourth.

Fury would get up off of his feet though and began to take control from that point onwards, as he went on to knock Wilder down four times on his way to a huge KO in the 11th round.

Reacting on Twitter, a number of boxers have given their thoughts.

Tommy Coyle wrote: "What a fight. Tyson Fury take a bow."

Paul Smith said: "What a fight."

Shawn Porter wrote: "Yea this 1 hurts more than the last 1. Can’t wait to get with my guys and talk about it on this week’s podcast."

Regis Prograis wrote: "That was a great fight. I was team Wilder but Fury beat him fare and square no controversy. The two best in the world fought and this is what boxing needs. Fury is undoubtedly the best heavyweight on the planet."

Badou Jack said: "Fight of the year! Like a damn Rocky movie lol"

Caleb Traux said: "THAT WAS A F****** FANTASTIC HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE FIGHT! #boxing #FuryWilderIII."

Luis Angel Feliciano said: "Rough night for the state of Alabama" (in reference to Alabama's college football team suffering a rare loss on the same night as Wilder losing.)

While Joseph Diaz said: "Glad wilder is okay! He showed a lot of heart, no one lost tonight!"

Tyson Fury now looks set to face Dillian Whyte, should he defeat Otto Wallin later this month.
