Boxer Danny Green praises prison attack on woman who killed teenager

Danny Green's post has received thousands of likes.

Prominent boxer Danny Green has praised a violent jail attack on a woman who murdered a teenager with autism.

Green used social media to call Trudi Lenon, who suffered severe burns in the attack, a "mutt", and wish her a "slow and painful death".

The Perth boxer said he "took his hat off" to the person who attacked the 44-year-old convicted murderer, who is awaiting sentence over the death of 18-year-old Aaron Pajich.

Green said in his post he was "tired of our putrid constitution forcing the law into the hands of the community".

Lenon was doused with boiling water during a suspected payback attack in prison on New Year's Day.

Lenon and her accomplice, 26-year-old Jemma Lilley, were found guilty of the stabbing and garrotting death of Mr Pajich in November last year.

The women had lured the teenager to the Orelia home they shared.

His body was found buried under a freshly laid slab of cement that was covered in tiles in the backyard of the home.

Green's post has received thousands of likes, including a comment from a woman believed to be Mr Pajich's step-mother, thanking the sportsman for his support.

However others have disagreed, with one user saying he had "lost respect" for Green "condoning of this type of violence".

Green has been a vocal campaigner against one-punch violence, and coined the term "coward's punch" for such attacks.
