Bowral Organic Store owners, customer arrested over alleged breaches of COVID-19 rules

LANGUAGE WARNING: Bowral Organic Store owners post arrest to Instagram (Instagram)

The owners of the Organic Store at Bowral have been arrested, along with a customer, over alleged breaches of COVID-19 public health orders.

New South Wales Police attended the Southern Highlands shop just after midday on Thursday after multiple reports from members of the public about noncompliance.

Recent posts from the store on social media have carried anti-mask and anti-vaccination messages, with some of the content hidden by Instagram for "containing false information".

Police said they observed employees and customers not wearing masks and were told by those people that they did not plan to fall in line with the directive.

"They had no intention of complying with the order," Deputy Police Commissioner Gary Warboys said.

The owners have made it clear they do not want vaccinated people on the premises. (Instagram)
