There's been a big foodie gap on Forrest Road ever since Edinburgh institution (and the city's first ever frozen yogurt shop) Frisky Froyo closed its doors in May after seven years of business.
However, right in time for the Fringe Festival the empty property at 13 Forrest Road has been transformed into Bowls - a veggie and vegan paradise.
Serving up 'beautiful bowls of bountiful breakfasts and scrumptious salads', the kind-to-the-planet cafe are offering visitors to their newly opened venue 10% off their bowl if you tag them in a social media post.
A wee oasis in amongst the surrounding Festival chaos and right next to The Meadows, Bowls have a whole 'foliage wall', with hundreds of beautiful hanging plants in wee tattie sacks.
Still missing your froyo hit? Never fear - Bowls did not come to disappoint. They've got their very own frozen vegan yogurt (so that everyone can get a scoop of the action) with flavours such as coconut and raspberry on offer.
There's also plenty of cake and locally-sourced coffee if you're need of a quick pit-stop. As Bowls say: "Come grab a bowl of breakfast, lunch, elevensies, second breakfast or even dessert."
