2019 Bowling Green Falcons Football Schedule Analysis
– Scot Loeffler has a layup to start the season against Morgan State, and he’ll need it with a trip to Kansas State to follow, and with Louisiana Tech coming up after. The other non-conference game? At Notre Dame. Anything better than 1-3 outside of the MAC would be terrific.
– The finishing kick in the East is a problem, going to Miami University and Buffalo, but getting to host Ohio. If the Falcons have any hope of going bowling, they have to dominate the home games against Central Michigan and Akron, and the road game at Kent State.
– It’s tough to avoid good teams from the West, but at least the Falcons play Toledo at home and miss Northern Illinois. They have to go to Western Michigan and get to host a Central Michigan squad that’s still improving.
