Bowling club broken into at Livingston and quantity of cash stolen

Police are appealing for information after cash was stolen at a break-in at a West Lothian bowling club.

Entry was forced to the Harrysmuir Bowling Club in Willowbank, Livingston in the early hours of Monday January 6 and a quantity of cash was taken from the premises.

Enquiries into the incident are ongoing and detectives are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

Detective Constable Barry Carlin, of West Lothian CID, said: “I am asking anyone who was in the Willowbank area in the early hours of Monday to get in touch if they saw or heard anything suspicious. Perhaps there was a noise that woke you? Or perhaps you saw a person, people or a vehicle acting suspiciously?

“I would also ask anyone who may have been driving in the area around the time to review their dash-cam footage and report anything which may be of use to us.”

Information can be provided to Police Scotland via 101, quoting reference number 1137 of 6 January, or reported anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
