Bow and arrow among items seized in Dublin raid

A 44-year-old man has been arrested after gardai seized suspected drugs, cash and a bow and arrow in a Dublin raid.

Drug paraphernalia was also discovered in the search of a residence in the Dublin 7 area on Tuesday, July 21, Dublin Live reports.

Cannabis herb worth €2,000 as well as €11,000 in cash were seized by gardai from the Bridewell Crime Prevention Unit.

A man was arrested at the scene under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act 1996.

Gardai said: "Gardaí seized €2,000 in Cannabis Herb (pending analysis), €11,000 in cash, a Bow and Arrow and other drug paraphernalia following a search of a residence in Dublin 7 on 21st July 2020 by Bridewell Crime Prevention Unit.

"A 44 year-old man was arrested at the scene under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act 1996. Investigations ongoing."
