Boutique hotel reveals its £1 million restaurant and bar revamp

Edinburgh boutique hotel Le Monde has reopened its bar and restaurant after a £1 million refurbishment.

The four-month revamp has seen the venue’s entire ground floor bar and restaurant area transformed with a new semi-circular Laurent Perrier champagne bar, with marble bar top, crimson leather bar stools, and welcoming velvet booths.

A newly tiled marble herringbone walkway leads to the main bar and restaurant, showcasing the stunning Georgian architecture with velvet, brass and custom made artwork.

Le Monde also has a new cocktail menu inspired by locations from Cairo to Casablanca, Reykjavik to Rio, Beijing to Barcelona. Vintage and non-vintage champagnes are available along with old and new world wines, premium spirits, craft beer and lagers.

Le Monde is also unveiling a mouth-watering new small plate dining menu, made with locally sourced produce.
