Bournemouth are set for the exciting capture of Fleetwood Town defender James Hill.
The 19-year-old is understood to be having a medical with the Championship side. The Cherries are reported by the Sun as having agreed a fee of £1.6million with the League One side.
If the move is sanctioned it would represent another milestone in Hill's promising career.
The last few months have seen him called up by Lee Carsley's England under-21s back in November, off the back of a scout from European giants Barcelona paying Fleetwood a visit to see Hill in the flesh.
The Spanish side sent a scout to monitor his performance in a 1-0 loss at home to Burton Albion in mid-October.

Hill was born in Bristol and is the son of former Bristol City defender Matt Hill. He was rejected as a youngster by Blackpool aged 12 and was then released by Bolton at 14.
A year later he had offers from Everton and Fleetwood but picked the latter as he felt they offered a better pathway.
He has gradually become an important part of a struggling Cod Army side, and he now looks all set to to make the leap to the Championship after 18 months in the third tier.
Last month Fleetwood chairman Andy Pilley referenced Hill, and other talented youngsters in the squad, with regards how the club view potential offers.
He readily admits talented players may well use the club as a "stepping stone" as they look to progress to the higher leagues. But he has no qualms in that, as long as his club get a fair price.
He said: "We’ve got some outstanding talent.
"There’s a cluster of clubs that are very interested in both James (Hill) and Jay (Matete), understandably so and other players as well, their time will come but what will happen is I think both of those players will move on in the not too distant future.
"Now, they play for us and they’ll continue to give their very best but success for this football club looks like success for these players who have come through the academy.
"It’s using us as a stepping stone to get to the Championship or the Premier League and that is the objective and that’s what we’re committed to achieving."
However, Pilley added a note of caution: "They definitely won’t be going on the cheap.
"There has been one or two rather ridiculous offers made and I’m quite long in the tooth, quite experienced now as a football club owner.
"So, if you are a watching football club owner or manager, yes we’ve got some outstanding players but we know their value and if you want to come in I’m confident you’ll be buying money as these are players that will go on and play regularly in the Premier League."
