Bournemouth vs Man City
Premier League 2018-19
Venue: Dean Court
Date: Sunday, 25th August, 2019
Kick-off time: 2pm BST
Manchester City are looking for a return to winning ways this weekend as the champions travel to Bournemouth on Sunday.
Pep Guardiola's side were held to a 2-2 home draw by Tottenham last week, with City suffering more VAR heartbreak against Spurs as Gabriel Jesus' late goal was chalked off for handball.
Man City must put that disappointment out of their minds and focus on beating a lively Bournemouth on the south coast, with Eddie Howe's Cherries likely to test the champions' defence.

Bournemouth vs Man City team news and predicted line-ups
Eddie Howe will be without seven players, with Dan Gosling (groin), David Brooks (ankle), Simon Francis (knee), Lloyd Kelly (ankle), Junior Stanislas (knee) and Arnaut Danjuma Groeneveld (ankle) out of action. Lewis Cook (knee) is back in first-team training.
As for City, Oleksandr Zinchenko will return after a potential thigh injury turned out to be cramp. John Stones (thigh) has a slim chance of returning, while Leroy Sane (ACL) and Benjamin Mendy (knee) are both out.
Bournemouth XI: Ramsdale; Smith, S. Cook, Ake, Daniels; Wilson, Billing, Lerma, Fraser; King, Wilson
Man City XI: Ederson, Walker, Otamendi, Laporte, Zinchenko, De Bruyne, Rodri, Silva, Bernardo, Aguero, Sterling
Score prediction: Bournemouth 2-4 Man City
Eddie Howe's tactical approach should make this an entertaining game, but City surely have too much talent in attack for the Cherries to cope with.
Expect a few goals from the visitors, but possibly one or two from the hosts as well.

Head to Head history and results (h2h)
Bournemouth will need to rewrite history this weekend, having never beaten Man City in a competitive fixture.
City have won 12 and drawn two of those 14 meetings, including the last eight in a row. City beat Bournemouth 3-1 at the Etihad last December, and 1-0 at Dean Court in March.
