Bournemouth vs Fulham
Premier League 2018-19
Venue: Vitality Stadium
Date: Saturday, 20 April, 2019
Kick-off time: 3:00pm GMT
Relegated Fulham will hope to gain some late-season momentum and spoil Eddie Howe's 500th game in management when they travel to face Bournemouth this afternoon.
The Whites, whose immediate return to the Championship was confirmed at the start of April, ended a torrid nine-match losing streak against Everton last weekend and picked up their maiden win since January - a first under caretaker manager Scott Parker.
They now meet a Bournemouth team that had recorded just one victory in their last nine matches before thrashing relegation-threatened Brighton 5-0 to move six places and 10 points above the bottom three.
It was the perfect tonic following a dismal home loss to Burnley and Howe's side can surely now look forward to a fifth successive season of Premier League football.
Bournemouth vs Fulham team news and predicted line-ups
Bournemouth have no fresh injury concerns ahead of the weekend, with captain Steve Cook returning to play 87 minutes at Brighton after two months on the sidelines.
However, Diego Rico (ankle) and Andrew Surman (calf) are both still out, as are the trio of Steve Francis, Charlie Daniels and Lewis Cook (all knee).
Bournemouth XI: Boruc, Mepham, Cook, Ake, Smith, Gosling, Lerma, Fraser, Brooks, King, Wilson
Fulham will be without loanee Timothy Fosu-Mensah, who has returned to parent club Manchester United after undergoing surgery on a knee ligament injury.
Parker said Marcus Bettinelli was progressing well after a knee issue, while Alfie Mawson is also close to a return.
Floyd Ayite could be in contention after a muscle injury, but Lazar Markovic (calf) is still in the treatment room.
Fulham XI: Sergio Rico, Christie, Le Marchand, Ream, Bryan, Chambers, Anguissa, Sessegnon, Cairney, Babel, Mitrovic
Score prediction: Bournemouth 2-0 Fulham
Fulham have lost seven consecutive away league matches and are winless on the road this season, accumulating just two measly points.
Bournemouth have not won any of their last four at home, but should be confident of adding to the visitors' travel woes.
