Bournemouth vs Everton preview: Team news, head-to-head, footie5 and form before Premier League clash

Premier League football is back - so rejoice at the fact the international break is over.

Normality has resumed and we can look forward to a weekend full of top-flight football.

Everton go into the weekend searching for their first Premier League win at Bournemouth's ground at the fifth time of asking.

In footie5 , both Liverpool fan Sam Quek and Jermaine Jenas are backing Everton to come back with all three points

Here is the footie5 preview for this weekend's match:

Form

Still early days but despite losing to Villa away, Everton find themselves in the top six after picking up wins at home against Watford and Wolves as well as a point away at Palace.

Bournemouth will be looking to avoid a third defeat in a row after suffering losses against Leicester City and Man City.

Team News

Summer signing Jean-Philippe Gbamin (thigh) remains on the sidelines while goalkeeper Jonas Lossl (calf) could be available.

For the Cherries, Lewis Cook (knee) is a doubt while Lloyd Kelly (ankle) and Simon Francis (knee) are not ready for first-team action despite returning to training.

Head-to-head

This will be the 13th meeting between the two sides.

Everton have come out winners eight times, drawn twice while Bournemouth have only picked up two wins.

Bournemouth have remained unbeaten at Dean Court in the league against the Toffees for the last four seasons - two wins and two draws.

SQ: Bournemouth 0-2 Everton

" Bournemouth haven’t really got going yet and Everton look solid at the back. It’s a tough one to call, but I’ll go for a solid away win."

JJ: Bournemouth 1-2 Everton

"Tight game this one but I think it suits Everton much morel. Bournemouth leak goals at home and Everton can be a very physical team that are dangerous from set-pieces."
