Bournemouth vs Everton – Premier League preview: What time is kick-off, where to watch, TV channel and odds

Two of the league’s remaining undefeated sides put their metal to the test when they face each other at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The Cherries’ 100% record stands courtesy of a comfortable 2-0 win over promoted Cardiff City, before they came back to beat West Ham 2-1 at the London Stadium last weekend.

Meanwhile, Everton recorded their first win of the season after goals from Theo Walcott and Richarlison secured a 2-1 win over Southampton.

The Brazilian was also in inspirational form on the opening day with a double at Wolves, which puts him level with Sergio Aguero and Sadio Mane as the league’s top scorer.

Bournemouth currently sit third in the table, while Saturday’s visitors occupy the position below.

What time does it start?

Bournemouth vs Everton kicks off at 3pm (BST).

Where can I watch it?

The match will not be shown live on TV or online in the UK.

Independent Sport will keep you up to date with all the goals as they fly in via our live blog.

Highlights will be shown at 10:30pm on BBC One.

It’s a big game for…

Cenk Tosun: The Turk’s commitment to the cause was once again evident against Southampton last weekend as he harried the Saints defence, but he needs a goal to really kick-start his season. Bournemouth may not be the easiest of teams to face to break his duck, but Marco Silva will need him firing if he is to aid Theo Walcott and Richarlison.

24: Bournemouth have won a Premier League high of 24 points from losing positions since the start of the 2017/18 season. Their 2-1 win against West Ham last weekend was the sixth occasion since August 2017 that they had won a league match which they had been losing.

Remember when…

Romelu Lukaku scored 87 goals for Everton 2014-17, but his highest tally during a single game came against Bournemouth in February 2017. The current Manchester United and Belgium striker curled in an effort into the far corner in the first minute and never looked back, adding another midway through the first half, before scoring another two in the last ten minutes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YAhO9nkaQlY

Player to watch…

Callum Wilson – The Bournemouth forward’s solo effort against West Ham last weekend was symbolic of the lightning start he has made to the new season. With two goals in the first two games of the season, the 26-year-old is already a quarter of the way to matching his tally for last season, and after recovering from two cruciate injuries in recent years he will be looking to get into double figures this season as he leads the line.
