Brentford will this week hoping for a case of 10th time lucky in the play-offs as they seek to get past Bournemouth and return to Wembley.

Defeat to west London rivals Fulham, after extra time, in last season’s Championship play-off final was the end of a gruelling Covid-hit season and the Bees have done well to bounce back for a second bite of the cherry.

Bournemouth completely lost their way in the final weeks of the season and their defeat to Brentford just three weeks ago will remain in the memory.
