Tottenham Hotspur make only their second visit to Bournemouth – their other was a 3-1 FA Cup defeat back in 1957 – seeking a recovery after one win in six matches in all competitions. That said, they are unbeaten in the Premier League since the opening day. Yet, given the visitors’ venture to Brussels on Thursday in the Europa League, these are the fixtures Bournemouth should target as an opportunity. The last few weeks, as the implications of long-term injuries are felt, have been damaging. Eddie Howe will hope this occasion will revitalise his own side’s challenge. Dominic Fifield
