Bournemouth confirm double injury blow as Howe faces being without nine players for Palace clash

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe has confirmed that the Cherries still have several injury problems ahead of the game against Crystal Palace on Sunday.

Last week, Bournemouth went into the game against Tottenham with the prospect of being without as many as ten players at the Vitality Stadium.

Nathaniel Clyne did pass a late fitness test to feature against Spurs, but Howe could still be without nine players for the game against Palace this weekend.

Howe provided the latest injury news from his squad ahead of the game at Selhurst Park, and admitted that a couple of key players are among those who could miss out.

"None of the players who were out last weekend will return for this weekend," he said.

"So that means David Brooks and Dan Gosling will both be out."

Gosling is currently out with a calf strain, while Brooks has an ankle injury and Dominic Solanke has a hamstring problem.

On top of that, Bournemouth have six other players who are ruled out with long-term injuries.

That includes Andrew Surman, who pulled a calf in training last month and has not featured since, Lewis Cook, Simon Francis, Junior Stanislas and Charlie Daniels, who are all out with knee injuries, and Diego Rico, who is currently sidelined with an ankle ligament injury
