Bouncer claims he was left defecating blood after finding glass in kebab

A bouncer has claimed he was left defecating blood after he bought a kebab with glass in it from the well-known Jason Donervan kebab van on the Triangle.

Gus Singh says he's been a regular customer of the iconic kebab van since 2016 and often buys a late night snack there after work.

However, the 35-year-old has vowed never to return after he says he accidentally ate shards of glass found in his doner kebab.

The manager of Jason Donervan, Mustapha Durdu, has denied glass could have ended up in the kebab, saying there's "no glass at all" in the van.

Mr Singh said he initially thought the "crunching" of the glass was just salad as he began eating his meal at home.

"I work as a bouncer at a nearby strip club so when I finished my shift I went over to Jason Donervan at around 4am to get some food," he said.

"I got a doner kebab and went home from Bristol to Newport before taking it out the bag.

"I had a bit heard a crunching noise but I thought it was just the salad.

"I just had a little bit and then went to bed. I left the rest in the fridge."

Mr Singh claims it only became apparent he had actually eaten glass the next morning.

"In the morning I went to the toilet and realised there was lots of blood coming out," he said.

"I got scared then - it was really painful. It stopped and then continued quite a lot.

"Every time I go to the toilet now it really hurts."

He says he then discovered more pieces of glass in the leftover kebab in the fridge.

"Everyone needs to be aware of this, they can't do this," he said.

Jason Donervan manager Mustapha Durdu has strenuously denied that glass could have ended up in the kebab.

"We don't have any glass at all in the van - there's no windows or anything, he is b**********g," he said.

"It's happened before when somebody said they found that found metal parts but they ended up apologising."

Bristol City Council has said they have not received any correspondence or complaints from Mr Singh.
