Boubakary Soumare is reportedly close to agreeing a transfer to Leicester City.
The 22-year-old has formed part of a Lille side that stands on the brink of the Ligue 1 title and has also been linked with Manchester United and Milan.
But according to Footmercato it's Brendan Rodgers' side who have taken a huge step forward in the race for his signature.
The website reports that discussions between Leicester, Lille and the player's entourage are progressing very positively.
Indeed, the parties are very close to an agreement that would see Soumare move to the Premier League this summer.
It's believed an official offer has been made to Lille though it's not clear what kind of price Leicester are willing to pay.
