Bottomless brunch in Glasgow: Four of the best options for a boozy breakfast

There's nothing better than meeting up with your friends and blabbing away whilst having some food and drinks.

Whether you're recovering from a busy week at work or just want to catch-up, brunch is probably one of the best ways to do it - and you don't need to wake up at the crack of dawn either. Phew.

Now when we say bottomless, it's not really bottomless due to licensing laws in Scotland - but the good news is you're still entitled to more than one drink.

The reason behind this is because our laws prohibit “irresponsible promotions which actively encourage people to consume a large quantity of alcohol in a short period of time. This may be done by cutting prices for a specified short period - e.g. happy hours - or offering unlimited quantities of alcohol for a set price."

Despite this, brunches are still very trendy on the Glasgow food scene. From Drumstick Caipiroska to Pornstar Pancakes, we've got you covered.

You can thank us later.

Revolution Bars

This brunch runs from 11am-4pm Thursday-Sunday for 90 minutes. You can chose any item on the menu and are entitled to four alcoholic drinks.

Luckily (but not so lucky), they have dietary restrictions, they also have vegan, dairy-free and gluten-free options too so you don't need to worry as everyone is covered.

This boozy brunch sounds fab and will cost you £20 per person. You can select drinks from their range which includes Aperol Spritz, Prosecco, Blank Canvas and if you're after a Pornstar Martini you can upgrade for an additional £10 per person -although in order to do this the whole table must upgrade too.

Slug and Lettuce

This Boozy Brunch has a lot of options! One that caught our eye was their 'Pornstar Pancakes' which is five American-style pancakes stacked together and topped with a Prosecco, vodka, mango and passion fruit compote.

When do we book the table?

On top of the alcoholic pancakes, there's a range of drinks to chose from which include Mimosas and Bloody Marys. This brunch (which requires a minimum of two guests and a pre-booking) lasts two hours and costs £28 per person. Again, due to licencing laws you can only chose up to six drinks which is available to book throughout the week.

tip: If you aren't interested in brunch and just want the cocktails, S&L are doing 50% off all Cocktails and Mocktails - we'll meet you there!

Bar Soba

If you're ever near Merchant City, you can stop by here for a Boozy Brunch.

You can enjoy their 'Street Food brunch' alongside four cocktails for £27.50 per person. The offer is available from 12pm-4pm every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at participating venues - but don't worry we checked and Glasgow is on the list!

The choice of drinks include: Drumstick Caipiroska, Strawberry Sail Daiquiri, Glass of Prosecco or Bottled beer (Tsingtao, Sol or Chang).

Delicious.

Browns

Browns offer a Sparkling Brunch costing £30 per person available Monday through Saturday until 2pm.

They say it’s the "perfect combination of light brunch dishes and tantalising tipples to start your day in the best way."

For this, you can choose from four glasses of prosecco or alternatively, you can have four glasses of Moët & Chandon Impérial or Moët & Chandon Impérial Rosé for £50 per person.

Tip: If you like Pineapple, then sign up to their newsletter and grab yourself a complimentary Pineapple Daiquiri. Feel free to sign up to ours whilst you're here too.
