Bottles of alcohol stolen during Perth pub raid

Police officers have launched a public appeal after bottles of alcohol were stolen during a Perth pub break-in.

The theft took place at The Grill bar in Flesher’s Vennel between 10.10pm and 10.20pm on Monday, March 29.

The bar was broken into by a man who proceeded to steal various bottles of spirits before leaving along St John’s Place towards the Hinterland Café.

A Tayside Police spokesperson said: “Officers would like to trace a man described as white, about 6ft and slim build, who was wearing a hooded jacket, Adidas tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.

“If anyone has information that could assist us, please call 101 or speak with any police officer.

“Also, information can be given anonymously through CrimeStoppers on 0800 555 111.

“Our reference is incident 1226 of March 30.”
