A mass brawl which left a man lying injured in the middle of a road has been caught on camera by a shocked onlooker.
At least five men were spotted punching and kicking each other after trouble erupted on Glasgow’s Renfield Street at around 7pm on Tuesday. An eyewitness told Glasgow Live that the fight began with around eight people involved, before some of the warring group fled the scene in the direction of West Regent Street.
In the video footage, two men can be seen throwing punches at each other in the middle of the road before a third person runs in and appears to drop-kick one of the men.
A fourth man then runs into the brawl carrying what the eyewitness described as a bottle before hitting another man with it.
Three of those involved then run away from the scene, leaving the injured party lying on the ground being tended to by another male and two women.
Luckily no cars were driving down the busy road while the brawl was taking place. The eyewitness said police or ambulance never appeared on the scene and the group "scattered".
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said they had no record of the incident.
