The two yokozuna stayed perfect Saturday on the seventh day of the Nagoya Grand Sumo Tournament, with two wrestlers trailing them at one loss apiece.

Yokozuna Hakuho and No. 3 maegashira Daieisho (3-4) each tried to secure the other's belt and exchanged slaps, but the yokozuna finally slapped down the maegashira in the middle of the ring to post his seventh straight win of the tournament.

Yokozuna Kakuryu bulldozed No. 3 maegashira Shodai (4-3) to force him out of the ring, building up his winning record to seven.

Ozeki Takayasu pushed out No. 2 maegashira Aoiyama to stay with one loss. Each tried to grab the other's belt in the middle of the dohyo, but the ozeki managed to push Aoiyama (3-4) out in a lengthy bout.

No. 16 maegashira Terutsuyoshi pushed out No. 1 juryo Tokushoryu (2-5) to remain with one loss.

Meanwhile, No. 1 maegashira Asanoyama, the winner of the Emperor's Cup at the last tournament in May, was pushed out of the dohyo by sekiwake Mitakeumi (5-2), thus posting his fifth loss of the tournament.

No. 2 maegashira Endo (3-4) forced out ozeki Goeido easily, dealing the ozeki his fourth loss.
