Both starting CBs remain among the Browns not practicing on Friday

It’s a good thing the Browns have some depth in the secondary, a group which played pretty well in the Week 3 loss to the Rams despite missing four starters. Both regular starting cornerbacks, Denzel Ward and Greedy Williams, remained out of practice on Friday.

They were joined on the sideline by starting strong safety Morgan Burnett and rookie reserve Sheldrick Redwine. All have upper leg injuries (a quad for Burnett, hamstrings for the others) that forced them to miss the Rams game and leaves their availability for Sunday’s game in Baltimore against the Ravens in real doubt.

Wideout Rashard Higgins also sat out practice as he nurses a knee injury. Reserve offensive tackle Kendall Lamm is out with his knee injury suffered in Week 1. He was the only one of the injured Browns players to not even work with trainers off to the side of the practice facility, according to Nate Ulrich of Ohio.com.

The Browns will release official injury designations for the game later on Friday.
